Ha Tinh Social Policy Bank links emulation movement with socio-economic development

On the afternoon of April 2, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Ha Tinh Branch held a conference to honor excellent and creative workers in the period 2020 - 2025.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the emulation and reward work at the Social Policy Bank of Ha Tinh province achieved many positive results, contributing significantly to the implementation of political tasks, promoting socio-economic development, and ensuring social security in the area.

Emulation movements closely follow political tasks, associated with major programs such as: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas"...; encourage workers to improve work efficiency; many typical advanced and innovative examples appear.

The activities of the Social Policy Bank of Ha Tinh province in the period of 2020 - 2025 have developed stably, with outstanding loans increasing along with improving credit quality. The branch focuses on mobilizing resources to create capital sources, effectively organizing and implementing policy credit programs, meeting the capital needs of the poor and policy beneficiaries.

Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Ha - Director of the Bank for Social Policies of Ha Tinh province analyzed in depth the policy credit results that Ha Tinh has achieved in the period of 2020 - 2025.

By March 27, 2025, Ha Tinh's total policy credit capital reached VND 7,460.5 billion, an increase of VND 2,481.6 billion compared to 2020; total outstanding policy credit reached VND 7,352.4 billion, an increase of VND 2,396.4 billion compared to 2020; overdue debt and frozen debt were very low.

In the period of 2020-2025, policy credit capital at the branch has supported investment capital for production and business, creating jobs for 120,007 workers; contributing to the restoration and development of a number of traditional occupations, contributing to reducing the poverty rate from 4.68% (end of 2021) to 2.4% (end of 2024).

At the conference, delegates focused on analyzing the results achieved in the process of implementing emulation movements. At the same time, they frankly acknowledged the limitations, suggested solutions, and drew lessons to make the branch's emulation and reward work more and more effective.

In the period of 2025 - 2030, the Provincial Social Policy Bank continues to innovate emulation and reward work; organize preliminary and final summaries, promptly commend and reward outstanding collectives and individuals; do a good job of information and propaganda work to create a great spread.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy General Director of the Bank for Social Policies Nguyen Thi Hang acknowledged and praised the impressive policy credit results that the Bank for Social Policies of Ha Tinh province has achieved in the past 5 years. In particular, the emulation and reward work has been seriously and effectively implemented by the branch, with many advanced models appearing, creating a spreading effect.

The Deputy General Director of the Bank for Social Policies requested the Bank for Social Policies of Ha Tinh province to continue to proactively advise local Party committees and authorities to lead, direct and effectively implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated October 30, 2024 of the Secretariat on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period; continue to coordinate well in implementing emulation and reward work, focusing on setting an example for leaders to create motivation for all employees.
