Improving information technology application skills for Front officials

The Fatherland Front at all levels in Quang Ninh province focuses on applying information technology and digital transformation in propaganda work and grasping public opinion.

On March 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province held a conference to guide and deploy key tasks of the Front's work in 2025; provide guidance on skills to grasp public opinion and coordinate in handling media crises, and improve the quality of propaganda on community pages (Facebook Fanpage).

The conference was organized in person and online at locations in 13 districts, towns, cities and 171 communes, wards and towns with the participation of over 4,600 Front officials and socio-political organizations in the whole province.

At the conference, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province informed about the key orientations of the Front's work in 2025. Notably, the task of collecting people's opinions on amending the Constitution, the Law on Organization of Local Government, the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front; collecting opinions of cadres, union members, association members and people on the charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the coming time...

In addition, the conference also organized the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

The application of information technology, the construction and promotion of community pages (Facebook Fanpage) has demonstrated the focus on digital transformation in propaganda work and grasping public opinion of the Fatherland Front at all levels of Quang Ninh province.

However, managing information on cyberspace also poses a significant challenge as public opinion becomes increasingly multi-dimensional, with the rapid spread of information. That requires Front officials to have the skills to promptly grasp and handle media crises in a systematic and effective manner.
