Improve training quality, combat readiness

Combat readiness training (SSCD) is one of the regular and important activities of the armed forces. Through training, the provincial armed forces improve their qualifications, tactics, physical strength, and mastery of weapons, equipment, and supplies, contributing to firmly protecting the Fatherland in all situations. In recent years, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command have had many policies and solutions focusing on leadership and direction to improve the quality and effectiveness of training and SSCD.

For many years, the Military Command of Dam Ha district has been evaluated as one of the units in the provincial armed forces with many creative ways to improve the quality of training and combat readiness. The officers and soldiers of the unit are always united, united, striving, overcoming difficulties, competing to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

The commune clearly defines the characteristics of a mountainous, coastal district (population over 40,000 people, 9 ethnic groups living), in recent years the Party Committee and Military Command of Dam Ha district have always focused on leading and directing the building of strong and comprehensive agencies and units, acting as the core to carry out local military and defense tasks. In which, improving the quality of combat readiness training is a breakthrough, implemented with many practical and effective solutions, close to the actual situation of the locality and unit.

For the 2024 training season, the District Military Command has proactively done a good job of preparation, from training and fostering cadres, to investing funds to renovate and repair teaching aids, training grounds, lesson plans, training schedules, etc., not to be passive in arising situations. The unit regularly encourages and motivates officers and soldiers; harmoniously combines measures to improve training quality with emulation and reward work. Thereby encouraging the creativity of officers and soldiers, improving professional quality in training and combat readiness. Since the beginning of 2024, the unit's officers and soldiers have had 8 initiatives to improve the quality of combat readiness training, of which 5 initiatives have been highly appreciated and participated in the Military Region-level competition.

With many creative and suitable solutions, since the beginning of the year, the District Military Command has organized training to complete 100% of the planned content and time for the subjects. The number of troops participating in the training reached 95-98.5%; the training test results were 100% satisfactory, of which 80% were good and excellent.

All units in the provincial military are proactive and creative in implementing synchronous measures to continuously improve the effectiveness of combat readiness training. In order to train soldiers to be proficient in combat readiness plans, every year the provincial Military Command promptly develops a plan to organize combat readiness training according to the determined content and program. The focus is on innovating leadership, direction, and training methods; closely combining military and technical training with political education. Thereby, building a team of officers and soldiers with strong political will, peace of mind in their work; identifying tasks well, strictly implementing instructions and regulations on combat readiness training tasks.

With the training motto of "Basic, practical, solid", entering the annual training season, the Provincial Military Command has proactively done a good job of preparation, from building and completing the system of training grounds and training grounds, to consolidating and improving the model of teaching tools and training materials for combat readiness to ensure compliance with regulations. The unit promotes the application of IT in training management and operation, ensuring scientific nature, closeness to combat situations and actual conditions of the locality. Along with that, it focuses on doing a good job of training, fostering and improving knowledge and qualifications for the staff, especially the staff directly training; promptly overcoming weaknesses and weak points in training and practice.

Synchronous and appropriate solutions in training have contributed to improving the combat power of the forces and building a strong and comprehensive unit. Over the past 5 years, the inspection results show that 100% of the training participants have met the requirements; of which 76.5-78.6% of the regular force achieved good and excellent results, and 71.2-73.6% of the militia and self-defense forces achieved good and excellent results.
