Right after the Lunar New Year 2025, officers and soldiers of units under the Provincial Military Command immediately started to carry out all training preparations. In particular, the preparation of weapons and technical equipment for training was carried out by the unit carefully, scientifically and methodically.

These early spring days, Regiment 244 (Provincial Military Command) is busier because the unit has just received 300 new soldiers for training. Although they have only been in the unit for nearly 10 days, the soldiers have begun to get used to the daily routine and training intensity in the military environment. With the encouragement and care of officers and comrades, along with the facilities, models, teaching aids, weapons, and technical equipment for training being guaranteed, the soldiers have quickly become familiar with the military environment and are confident in training themselves.
Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Kien, Commander of Regiment 244, said: Right before Tet, the unit has implemented many activities to prepare facilities, teaching models, weapons, and technical equipment to meet the requirements of training tasks. Thanks to the full and thoughtful preparation, the training work has been carried out methodically and scientifically, meeting the requirements and tasks well.
Not only at Regiment 244, entering the 2025 training season, despite many difficulties, agencies and units in the provincial military have proactively promoted the spirit of self-reliance and creativity of officers and soldiers in ensuring adequate weapons and technical equipment for training, meeting the requirements of assigned tasks.
Major Pham Van Duyen, Head of the Armament Department (Provincial Military Command) said: The number of weapons and technical equipment that the unit is managing and using is quite diverse in types, and many countries produce them. Meanwhile, the infrastructure for preservation, maintenance, repair, and storage is still limited; the weather and climate conditions of the coastal province with high humidity and salinity cause many difficulties in preservation and maintenance work. In particular, storm No. 3 at the end of 2024 greatly affected the warehouse system, causing difficulties in ensuring weapons and technical equipment. However, promoting the spirit of self-reliance and creativity, the unit's officers and soldiers have proactively done a good job of preservation and maintenance, ensuring adequate weapons and technical equipment for training, combat readiness, and meeting the requirements of assigned tasks.

To do a good job of ensuring weapons and technical equipment for missions, the Provincial Military Command has strictly maintained the preservation, maintenance and repair regime; strengthened the system of warehouses and workshops to improve the quality of management and technical assurance for weapons and technical equipment. Along with that, the Provincial Military Command also pays attention to training and improving the professional qualifications of technical staff and officers; improving the ability to manage, exploit and use weapons and technical equipment for officers and soldiers; continuing to research and apply technical innovations and improvements to the organization of the implementation of the task of ensuring and maintaining weapons and technical equipment...
With drastic and appropriate solutions, in recent times, the work of preserving, maintaining, repairing, and storing weapons and technical equipment has been seriously and effectively carried out by agencies and units in the provincial military. The days and hours of technical work have been carried out in a systematic manner, contributing to maintaining and improving the technical coefficient of weapons and equipment; well meeting the task of combat readiness training.
Outstandingly, implementing the contents and objectives of the campaign on "Management, exploitation of weapons, technical equipment well, durable, safe, economical and traffic safety", in 2024 the unit has performed well the task of ensuring weapons, technical equipment for training tasks, drills, competitions, sports, especially the task of ensuring live-fire training in the Command - Agency 1-side 2-level drills, associated with mobilizing reserve soldiers, fighting the enemy in defending mountainous areas. In training and drills, many types of weapons with strong firepower were used but were successful, ensuring absolute safety.
Promoting the achieved results, from the first days of 2025, the Provincial Military Command has led and directed agencies and units to continue to focus on doing a good job of maintenance, repair, storage, ensuring full and synchronous weapons and technical equipment for missions. In particular, the unit focused on reviewing and ensuring full weapons and technical equipment for training as well as organizing the 2025 training launch ceremony and training new soldiers at Regiment 244.
