Nam Dinh puts into operation provincial road 485B project on Tet holiday

The Department of Transport of Nam Dinh province said that the unit has received the handover of the section from Km5+745.49 to Km15+232.51 of the project to build provincial road 485B (from the left dike of Dao river to national highway 21B) through Vu Ban and My Loc districts to put into operation and use to serve the travel needs of the people, especially during the Lunar New Year and the Spring Festival in early 2024.

Nam Dinh put provincial road 485B into operation on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024.

Therefore, to strengthen the work of ensuring traffic safety and order on the newly put into operation sections, the Department of Transport requests the People's Committees of My Loc and Vu Ban districts to direct departments, offices, functional forces and People's Committees of communes and towns where the route passes through to provide information on the local media system about putting the section from Km5+745.49 to Km15+232.51 into operation so that people know and choose appropriate travel routes.

Strengthen the propaganda and dissemination of traffic safety laws; provide guidance on safe traffic participation skills so that local people understand and comply; organize a review of the signaling system and speed bumps at level crossings and branch roads intersecting this route to have additional solutions and warnings to ensure traffic safety.

Propose that the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board direct the construction contractor and related units to fully perform the responsibility of construction warranty according to the provisions of law; Arrange permanent staff to handle situations arising when putting the route into operation to ensure safe and smooth traffic...

At the same time, the Department of Transport requested the Nam Dinh Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Management Board to arrange staff to perform patrol and management tasks for the newly exploited route, coordinate with local authorities and functional forces to implement measures to ensure traffic safety and order on the route.

Assign the Department Inspectorate and the Traffic Infrastructure Management Department to proactively advise and implement measures to handle violations of infrastructure, road traffic safety corridors, etc. within their authority to ensure traffic safety and order on newly put into use routes.
