Instead of having to go to the counter, from now on, visitors anywhere who want to visit My Son Sanctuary can go to the website mysonticketonline.vn in Vietnamese and English to choose the appropriate ticket.
Entrance ticket for foreign visitors is 150,000 VND/ticket, for Vietnamese citizens is 100,000 VND/ticket.
The My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board said that by operating the online ticket portal, this unit hopes to serve visitors more conveniently in purchasing tickets to visit the temple tower area. This is also an effort to digitally transform to organize tour guide activities and sell tickets better and better.
My Son Temple Complex was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2009, along with Hoi An ancient town.
The ancient Cham tower complex in this valley has survived for thousands of years with tireless preservation efforts from Vietnam's cooperation with other countries, notably India.
Recently, scientists have announced the results of excavations that discovered a pilgrimage route that existed in history. This route was for monks to move into the towers, the direction of the route is opposite to the current entrance to visit My Son.
Currently, My Son welcomes about 1,500 visitors per day, more than 95% of whom are international visitors.
