Momo has a problem and cannot log in to the service.

On the morning of October 19, MoMo e-wallet users nationwide were simultaneously unable to log in to the application on their mobile devices. The software only displayed a message with the content: "An error occurred during processing or network connection was lost. Please try again."

The unexpected incident of the most popular e-wallet in Vietnam has affected and inconvenienced the majority of users. All money transfers, shopping, payments... cannot be performed and users are forced to find alternative solutions through bank applications or use cash.

Some users reported that their MoMo e-wallet account balance suddenly dropped to 0 VND, while others lost the link to previously established bank accounts. Rumors quickly emerged on Facebook user communities about technical problems from the publisher.

At around 12 o'clock the same day, MoMo's official Facebook fanpage announced the incident, the cause of which was confirmed to be "system maintenance and will be completed as soon as possible". The e-wallet issuer also pledged that customers' accounts and money are still safe. "We sincerely apologize for this experience", MoMo shared.

However, after 13 hours, MoMo still could not completely fix it to return to its original state, there are still some display errors. To be able to use it normally, customers will have to log out of their accounts and log back in to the system. MoMo representative confirmed that this is just maintenance and will not affect customer rights.

Currently, the problem has been completely fixed by MoMo.
