Dismissal of Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong

The National Assembly passed a resolution on the dismissal of Mr. Bui Van Cuong from the position of Secretary General of the National Assembly and the termination of his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

According to the announcement of the Office of the National Assembly, on October 25, the National Assembly held a separate meeting to carry out personnel work within its authority. Accordingly, the National Assembly voted to pass Resolution No. 157/2024/QH15 dated October 25, 2024 on the dismissal of Mr. Bui Van Cuong from the position of Secretary General of the National Assembly, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and the termination of his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

Mr. Bui Van Cuong ceased to hold the positions of Secretary General of the National Assembly, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly; ceased to perform the duties of a deputy of the 15th National Assembly. At the same time, Mr. Cuong retired according to his personal wishes and enjoyed the regime and policies according to current regulations.
