According to Arstechnica , Windows XP is an operating system platform that has been actively supported by Microsoft for 13 years. This makes its default wallpaper familiar to Windows PC users and one of the most recognizable images on the planet.
Sweaters with wallpapers are quite familiar to computer users.
Now, Microsoft is paying homage to the iconic operating system with a series of sweaters — an annual tradition for the company. The blue trim at the bottom and on the sleeves evokes the bright blue taskbar of Windows XP. In case you didn't notice the style, the wallpaper also features a giant mouse cursor hovering over it.
The Microsoft Sweater is available in sizes small to 3XL and will retail for $70, regardless of which version you buy. All sizes are currently expected to ship between December 2 and 6.

Before the Windows XP sweater, Microsoft also introduced other Christmas sweater variations with motifs of Minesweeper, MS Paint, Windows logos… Microsoft's sweater website also has wallpapers and a few other classic Easter eggs for those who have a little time.
Microsoft said it will donate all proceeds from sales of the limited-edition Windows XP-based sweater to the Nature Conservancy and its "initiatives to combat the climate crisis and biodiversity."
