MHT green transformation from efficient energy use, zero waste

Green transformation at Masan High-Tech Materials (MHT) starts with changing management thinking, using energy resources effectively, not wasting waste, and recycling back into production.

Speaking at the workshop with the theme: Pioneering dual transformation for a greener Vietnam, organized by Dau Tu Newspaper on November 12, Mr. Craig Richard Bradshaw, General Director of Masan High-Tech Materials, said that the technology that this enterprise has invested in over the past 14 years is actively participating in green transformation. In the battery manufacturing industry, the world has many big names, but Masan High-Tech Materials researches and produces batteries with longer usage time, higher durability, and faster charging. This is the energy source that is widely used in green transformation.

Masan High-Tech Materials is implementing a "greener transformation" in the mining industry by recycling waste back into production, not letting it go to waste; classifying waste, recycling it into new product lines, with a recycling rate of more than 30% of the total waste generated. In 2023, 7.8 million m³ of wastewater was recycled and reused for production, accounting for 76.1% of the total water used at the enterprise; the waste recycling rate at the factory reached more than 80%...
