Cooperation to develop tourism in Southeast region

Tourists experience virtual reality visiting famous landmarks in the Southeast region at the event of the preliminary agreement on cooperation to develop regional tourism at the end of 2024.

Accordingly, Ba Ria-Vung Tau will build themed tourism routes and waterway tourism products based on survey results in 2024 connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the provinces/cities of the Southeast region. At the same time, establish a working group to deploy linking tours to develop inter-provincial product and service chains between Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria-Vung Tau according to the program "one route, two destinations"; participate in famtrip and press trip delegations to survey tourism in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Binh Phuoc.

Regarding tourism promotion, Ba Ria-Vung Tau cooperates with the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City to complete the 3D/360-degree interactive smart tourism map of the Southeast region and an electronic information page to promote tourism activities and products of the regional linkage program; provide information on tourism in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to promote regional tourism on the Heritage Guide publication and the entertainment system on international flights of Vietnam Airlines; participate in typical tourism events of the provinces and cities of the Southeast region; promote foreign tourism according to the plan of the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City; organize the "Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Week" in 2025...
