Dialogue with residents of Chi Linh Urban Center project

Representative of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development Project of Vung Tau City answered people about the progress of the project.

The households said that they had bought land from DIC Group for many years, but had not yet been handed over the land, the project was slow to implement, affecting the rights of the people. Meanwhile, households living in the project area could not build or repair their houses, making life difficult.

At the dialogue, the Chairman of Vung Tau City People's Committee and departments responded to people's opinions and recommendations on project progress, land price list, compensation plan for site clearance, and legal procedures of some households related to the transfer, construction of houses and resettlement.

For recommendations that are not within the authority, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Hoang requested the office to synthesize, review and classify them to send to the Provincial People's Committee and relevant competent agencies. At the same time, he requested that while waiting for the Provincial People's Committee to resolve, the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development Projects of Vung Tau City continue to survey land prices, have a plan for compensation and site clearance, and arrange resettlement for eligible households.

The Chairman of Vung Tau City People's Committee also requested DIC Group to coordinate with relevant units to consider resolving benefits for the people.
