(CLO) On the evening of November 28, at the Cultural - Cinema Center of Ha Tinh province, the Vietnam Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival recognized by UNESCO officially opened.
The event was organized by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, within the framework of the Festival "Returning to the Vi and Giam region - Connecting the quintessence of heritage" on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs being honored by UNESCO (2014 - 2024).

The festival brought together 6 folk art troupes from provinces and cities that possess intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO. Each troupe brought a distinct cultural nuance, highlighting the spiritual value of each heritage.
Vi and Giam folk songs of Nghe Tinh and Ca Tru performed by the Art Troupe of Ha Tinh province, affirming the strong vitality of the heritage in a land rich in tradition.
Lam Dong Province Art Troupe recreates the sacred and heroic space of the Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space.
Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater conquers audiences with the rustic melodies of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs.

Nghe An province's art troupe continued with the Vi and Giam folk songs of Nghe Tinh, evoking memories of the poetic land.
Xoan singing of Phu Tho is vividly recreated by Phu Tho Provincial Art Troupe, bringing a unique religious atmosphere associated with the heritage of the Hung King era.
Quang Nam Province Art Troupe introduces the Central Vietnamese art of Bài Chòi, which is deeply rooted in the lives of the people of the Central region.

The special feature of the festival is that all performances are performed in their original form, preserving the full identity of each heritage. Through each song and melody, the host community and the artisans have fully recreated the core values of the heritage – precious spiritual products bearing the imprint of history, culture and science.
Each heritage is not only the crystallization of community culture, but also the pride of generations. The performances at the festival highlighted the ability to connect heritage with contemporary life, both evoking traditional values and promoting sustainable regeneration and transmission.
The festival is an opportunity to promote and honor intangible cultural heritages, while demonstrating Vietnam's commitment to preserving and promoting heritage values recognized by UNESCO.

The Festival program takes place on two nights, November 28 and 29, at the Cultural - Cinema Center of Ha Tinh province, promising to leave deep impressions in the hearts of the audience and contribute to promoting the image of Vietnam - the country of world cultural heritages.
