Up to now, Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs have been listed for 15 years, during the past time, Bac Ninh province has had many policies and guidelines to preserve and promote the values of the Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Along with restoring the performance space of the original Quan Ho villages, developing Quan Ho practice villages, and establishing many Quan Ho Clubs, the province has issued many mechanisms and preferential policies for the original Quan Ho villages, Quan Ho practice villages, Quan Ho Folk Song Clubs as well as Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk artists and artisans...

Based on the analysis of advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges in preserving culture, bringing cultural heritage to integrate and reach international friends, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized the need to further promote the sense of responsibility with specific actions to contribute to bringing the value of Quan Ho folk song cultural heritage to new heights, with the core and the main ones being artisans, artists, Quan Ho villages, and Quan Ho folk song clubs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh informed that just a few hours ago, the National Assembly had just voted to pass the Draft Law on Culture (amended), which stipulates that November 23 every year is Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day. The Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly emphasized that Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs are the quintessence of the working life, love and aspirations of the people of Kinh Bac region. UNESCO's recognition of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs is a testament to the unique cultural and artistic values as well as our responsibility in preserving and promoting the value of heritage.
Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh province.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders and with personal feelings, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh commended the dedication, responsibility and important achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh province have achieved in preserving and promoting the value of Quan Ho folk song cultural heritage. At the same time, she suggested strategic solutions in preserving and promoting the value of the heritage.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives with many achievements in preserving and promoting the value of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs heritage.
On this occasion, 02 excellent collectives, namely the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh province; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province and 02 individuals with important contributions to the work of preserving and promoting the value of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded Certificates of Merit to 05 collectives with many achievements.
After the solemn ceremony, a special art program with the theme "Reunion of Bamboo and Mai" was elaborately staged with the participation of the Lien Anh and Lien Chi of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater, artists from the Cultural Center of Tay Ninh Province, Ha Tinh Province, Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, Quan Ho Mang Non Club of the Provincial Youth Cultural Center; famous singers: Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Trong Tan, Bui Le Man...
The art program includes 4 segments: Listening to Quan Ho folk songs, people come back; Vi - Giam songs, filled with nostalgia; Deep art of Don ca tai tu and Bac Ninh happy on the festival day. Thereby showing the everlasting vitality of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs - Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and the unique cultural values of each type of folk song bearing the mark of the region.
