The Vietnamese women's volleyball team is playing with stable performance at the 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup (AVC Challenge Cup). After passing the first qualifying round as the top team in Group D, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team entered the second qualifying round (Group F) and had a 3-0 victory over Iran.

With this result, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team and Taiwan share the first and second places in Group F, both winning tickets to the semi-finals. Therefore, the confrontation between the Taiwanese women's volleyball team and Vietnam in the final match of Group F will take place at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow (June 23) to determine the first and second places in the group.
In Group E, the host team Indonesia has secured a place in the semi-finals. The remaining ticket will belong to one of the two teams India or the Philippines. In the final match, India will have to face Indonesia while the Philippines will meet Australia.

According to the rules, the team that finishes first in Group E will face the team that finishes second in Group F in the first semi-final, while the team that finishes first in Group F will face the team that finishes second in Group E in the second semi-final. It is likely that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will finish first in Group F and face their Southeast Asian rival, the Philippines, in the semi-finals. The semi-finals will take place on June 24.
