School schedule for students after Tet holiday

According to statistics, this morning, 48 localities nationwide allowed students to return to school after Tet, while the remaining 15 localities continued to let students stay home.

Among the localities, Kon Tum, Quang Ninh, Soc Trang, and Kien Giang have given students the longest break until February 10 before returning to school.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, provinces and cities are allowed to proactively plan the school year, but must ensure 35 weeks (semester I has 18 weeks, semester II has 17 weeks), in which semester I ends before January 18, semester II before May 31.
