60th Anniversary Celebration of Hau Loc High School

On the morning of November 17, Hau Loc High School - Hau Loc I High School celebrated its 60th anniversary (1964-2024) and received the Emulation Flag of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

In the fall of 1964, Hau Loc High School (now Hau Loc I High School) - the first high school in Hau Loc hometown was established. After 60 years of construction and development, the quality of education and training (GD&DT) of Hau Loc I High School has made many breakthroughs and grown, not only being the pioneer of the education sector in Thanh Hoa but also a prestigious school.

Over the years, the school's excellent students in cultural subjects have always ranked in the top 5 leading schools in the province. The graduation rate has always been 100%, and for 4 consecutive years, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has awarded the school a Certificate of Merit for achieving high results in the high school graduation exam.

Up to now, 100% of cadres, teachers and staff have qualified qualifications, including 18 teachers with master's degrees; many teachers have been awarded certificates of merit, emulation fighters at all levels, sectors, and organizations from central to grassroots levels... The quality of mass education is always focused on, the quality of key education is maintained and there are many breakthroughs in competitions of the education and training sector and other competitions at provincial and regional levels.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Hau Loc I High School has more than 1,500 students.

Along with teaching and learning, the school pays attention to Party building and developing Party members in schools. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school has 32 excellent students admitted to the Party, and 101 students introduced to learn Party sympathy.

Over the past 60 years, more than 20,000 students have graduated; many have passed and studied at secondary schools, colleges, universities and post-graduate schools, many have achieved degrees, doctorates, professors, associate professors... Many are Labor Heroes, scientists, managers, engineers, doctors, teachers, successful businessmen... with many great contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

With great contributions to the cause of education and training, the Party and the State, the Ministry of Education and Training... have awarded Hau Loc I High School many noble awards. Typically, the Third-class Labor Medal (2003), Second-class Labor Medal (2012); First-class Labor Medal (2017); Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister (2001, 2011); Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee; for many years, the Prime Minister and Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee have awarded the Emulation Flag. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a national standard school at level 2 in Decision No. 3460/QD-UBND dated September 26, 2023...

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Van Thuc, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Education and Training, commended and congratulated the achievements that the school has persistently, persistently, and strived to achieve over the 60-year journey.

To continue training and nurturing elite generations, human resources with high qualifications, capacity, quality, and moral qualities, meeting the country's integration needs in the new era, Mr. Tran Van Thuc, Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training, suggested that the school: Promote governance in the direction of standardization, modernization, and socialization, firmly ensuring the national standard school model. Teachers continue to innovate teaching methods, improve pedagogical skills to meet the 2018 General Education Program; educate generations of students with ethics, personality, lifestyle, intelligence and working capacity, comprehensive development to contribute to building a prosperous and strong homeland and country. At the ceremony, generations of teachers and former students of the school together recalled the memories of teaching and learning at Hau Loc I High School. Comrade Nguyen Van Thi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, on behalf of generations of students, expressed his honor, pride and emotion when returning to attend the ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the school's founding and also the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).
