Ly Thai To (real name Cong Uan) was born in the year of Giap Tuat 974 at Co Phap Pagoda (also known as Ung Tam Pagoda) in Dinh Bang Ward, Tu Son City. On the 15th day of the third lunar month in the year of Canh Tuat 1010, at noon, when he was spiritually enlightened, Ly Cong Uan officially held a coronation ceremony, and named the reign Thuan Thien. After ascending the throne, Ly Thai To issued an edict to move the capital from Hoa Lu to Dai La citadel, naming the new capital Thang Long. The founding king of the Ly Dynasty also issued many policies to develop the economy, expand foreign relations, and build a prosperous dynasty that lasted for 216 years with 9 kings. The Ly Dynasty is considered the most benevolent dynasty in the history of the country.

Dinh Bang Communal House, Le Quang Dao Memorial House, and the “Hoang De Chi Bao” Golden Seal are all valuable cultural and historical heritages, carrying profound overall values.
