Attending the Festival were comrades: Duong Van Trang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; U Huan - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Duc Tuy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Y Thi Bich Tho - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; former members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, socio-political organizations, provincial armed forces; central agencies, units, enterprises located in the province and a large number of people.
Speaking at the festival, comrade Y Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the New Year's Eve Festival to celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025 is an event organized to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among all classes of people to celebrate the traditional New Year of the nation, to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Kon Tum province (March 16, 1975 - March 16, 2025) and major events and holidays of the country and the province.
This is also an opportunity to review history and revolutionary traditions, promote the spirit of great national unity and encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in the province to compete to achieve many achievements, successfully implement targets and tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security, towards welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
On the occasion of the New Year, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished delegates, cadres, party members and all people good health, happiness, peace and prosperity.
At the New Year's Eve Festival to celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025, delegates and local people enjoyed a special art program with the theme "Celebrating the glorious Party - Celebrating the Spring of At Ty 2025". In the program, artists and actors performed drum performances, lion and dragon dances, singing and dancing with the theme of celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring, homeland, country, spring happiness...
After the art performance, there will be a 15-minute fireworks display (from 0:00 to 0:15) to welcome the Year of the Snake 2025.
On New Year's Eve, together with Kon Tum city, Sa Thay, Dak To and Ngoc Hoi districts will organize low-altitude fireworks displays to welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025 with a duration of 15 minutes. The fireworks festival will take place in the squares and parks of these districts. Funds for organizing fireworks locally will be mobilized from socialized sources.
