Provincial leaders visit Team K72 on duty in Cambodia

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien burned incense to pay tribute to the souls of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives on the Cambodian battlefield.

Visiting the officers, soldiers and staff of Team K72, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien congratulated and highly appreciated their sense of responsibility, readiness to overcome all difficulties and hardships, and determination to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien hopes that the officers, soldiers and staff of Team K72 always have a good mindset, because this is a sacred, proud, responsible and affectionate task that many generations of officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces have carried out and completed excellently in the past. Therefore, each officer and soldier when interacting with the people of the neighboring country must have a standard of language and image. Especially, learn and adapt well to the customs and practices of the local people; maintain regular relationships and connect information with the government and armed forces of the neighboring province.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien presented gifts and encouraged officers, soldiers and employees of Team K72 who are on duty in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

After more than 1 month of performing the mission in the dry season of 2024-2025, Team K72 has coordinated to search and collect 911 remains (including 3 graves with exact names and addresses) in Kampong Thom province. During the mission, officers and soldiers always ensure the safety of people and vehicles, strictly comply with military discipline and the laws of the host country. In parallel with the mission, Team K72 has also organized and done well the mass mobilization work such as: Medical examination and treatment, free medicine distribution for people and officers of the Kampong Thom Provincial Military Sub-region./.
