Mr. Le Dinh Luc - Vice Chairman of Tra Leng Commune People's Committee informed that the hailstorm blew off the roofs, punctured the corrugated iron sheets of some houses, and many areas of acacia trees were broken. According to Mr. Luc, his family's house was also damaged by uprooted bamboo bushes that fell on it.

"We have sent militia and youth forces to help households whose roofs were blown off to clean up and move their property; at the same time, we have directed villages to grasp the situation, count the damage to synthesize and report to the district for timely handling," said Mr. Luc.

This is the first hailstorm this year in Tra Leng. Most of the houses here are made of wood and have corrugated iron roofs, so the risk of damage is very high if hailstorms recur in the near future.
