The creative program “Traditional Art of A Luoi” has the participation of artists and architects from the Hanoi Urban Sketching Group and artists, Hue artists, and ethnic minority artisans from A Luoi district.

Participating artists will create and sketch directly on architectural works, patterns, and decorative motifs of traditional houses of ethnic minorities such as the Moong house (long stilt house) of the Pa Co people, the Rong house of the Ta Oi people, and the Guol house of the Co Tu people. In addition, some artists and artisans will create wood carvings, pottery, weaving, and wickerwork...

Through this activity, the organizers hope to contribute to preserving and maintaining the traditional cultural and artistic values of ethnic minorities in A Luoi, the traditional beauty that is gradually fading due to the introduction of new trends; the traditional house architecture of ethnic minorities is at risk of being changed and lost. From there, promote and honor those values to domestic tourists and international friends.
