In April 2025, Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) continues to maintain the same savings interest rate schedule for both direct deposits at the counter and online deposits. The highest interest rate that ACB is applying is 6%/year, but only applies to deposits of VND 200 billion or more with a term of 13 months.
For individual customers who deposit savings in the traditional form and receive interest at the end of the term, the interest rate ranges from 2.3% to 4.5% per year, depending on the term. Specifically, short terms such as 1 month and 2 months are applied with interest rates of 2.3% and 2.5% per year, respectively. This rate remains stable compared to the previous month.
When saving for a period of 3 to 5 months, customers will receive an interest rate of 2.7% to 3.1% per year. The interest rate increases according to the term, for example, 3 months is 2.7%, 4 months is 2.9% and 5 months is 3.1%. For a 6-month term, the interest rate reaches 3.5% per year, while the 9-month term is maintained at 3.7% per year.
If depositing money within 12 months, ACB is applying an interest rate of 4.4%/year. For longer terms such as 13 to 36 months, the interest rate is applied uniformly at 4.5%/year. However, the 13-month term will have a special preferential interest rate of up to 6%/year if customers deposit from 200 billion VND or more. This is the highest interest rate in ACB's current interest rate table and is only for customers with large deposits.
In addition, ACB still applies an interest rate of 0.5%/year for very short terms from 1 to 3 weeks, this rate has not changed in the past few months and is mainly for short-term flexible deposits. In general, ACB's interest rate schedule in April is still quite stable and clearly differentiated by term and deposit amount, suitable for many different financial needs of customers.
In April 2025, ACB Bank continues to maintain the interest rate table for online savings. Interest rates are divided according to the deposit amount into 5 specific groups: under 200 million VND, from 200 million to under 1 billion VND, from 1 billion to under 5 billion VND and over 5 billion VND. Each deposit group is applied a different interest rate, the larger the deposit, the higher the interest rate.
For a 1-month term, if customers deposit less than 200 million VND, they will receive an interest rate of 3.1%/year. This interest rate will increase to 3.2%/year for the group from 200 million to less than 1 billion VND. When depositing from 1 billion to less than 5 billion VND, the interest rate is 3.25%/year and the highest is 3.3%/year for the group over 5 billion VND.
Similarly, for a 2-month term, online savings interest rates range from 3.2% to 3.4% per year depending on the amount deposited. The interest rate will increase steadily with each amount threshold.
For a 3-month term, ACB lists interest rates for the respective deposits at 3.5%, 3.6%, 3.65% and 3.7%/year. These are reasonable interest rates for those who want to make short-term savings and still want to enjoy higher returns than the 1-2 month term.
When customers choose a deposit term of 6 months, the interest rate will fluctuate between 4.2% and 4.4%/year. Depending on the deposit amount, the depositor will enjoy different interest rates within this range.
For the 9-month term, the interest rate table is also differentiated according to the deposit limit as follows: 4.3%, 4.4%, 4.45% and the highest is 4.5%/year.
The 12-month term – one of the most popular terms – has the most attractive interest rate. The interest rate for this term is applied by ACB in the range of 4.9% to 5.1%/year, depending on the amount of money the customer deposits.
For short-term savings of only 1 to 3 weeks, ACB still maintains the interest rate at 0.5%/year, this rate is mainly to support the need for flexible deposits in a very short period of time.
