On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, on the morning of November 19, Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted (Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen) gave gifts to the school's students.
Teachers thank students for always trying.
According to Mr. Huynh Tan Chau, Principal of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, every time Vietnam Teachers' Day comes around on November 20, many parents and students always think of giving gifts to show their gratitude to teachers. This creates invisible pressure on families in difficult circumstances. Therefore, for a long time, teachers at Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted no longer think that Vietnam Teachers' Day is about receiving gifts from parents and students. On the other hand, teachers at the school "reversely give" gifts to students because they want to show their gratitude for their tireless efforts and hard work throughout the school year.

"We would like to thank the students for their hard work and efforts throughout the school year. They are the ones who have made the school's history and achievements, and at the same time created a brilliant journey for the education sector. Therefore, we would like to send our gratitude to the students," said Mr. Chau.
More than 200 books were donated to 27 classes of the school.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, students received gifts again, a "strange story" that surprised and touched many students with the special attention of their teachers.
Do Nguyen Ba Khai, a 10th grade student with congenital heart disease, could not control his emotions when receiving a meaningful gift from the school.
"This is the first year I have received gifts and scholarships from the school on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. We are very touched by the care that teachers and the school give to students. Not only do they teach us knowledge, but the teachers also care about our spiritual life, always giving us encouragement and helping us overcome adversity," Khai said.
12 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) were awarded to students in difficult circumstances.

Trinh Dieu Quynh My, a grade 11 literature student, was extremely surprised to receive a meaningful gift from the school. My's parents work far away and only return home occasionally, so she had to move to the school's dormitory.
"I often feel down and stressed when studying. Many times, Mr. Huan, the homeroom teacher; Mr. Chau, the principal and the teachers encouraged me. Thank you for your companionship and care for me. On the occasion of November 20, we will try to study hard, become good students, useful citizens of society to not disappoint the teachers," said My.
Building good school traditions
On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day 2023, Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted gave 50,000 VND/student for them to organize a party with their teachers, and also gave more than 50 scholarships to encourage students in difficult circumstances.
This year, from socialized resources, the school came up with the idea of donating more than 200 books to 27 classes. Each book is listed and selected by the teachers themselves, so this is the heart of the teachers who want to send to their students. In addition, the school wants to spread the reading culture to students, aiming at the goal of comprehensive education in both knowledge and social skills for students, preparing them best for life.

In addition, the school also awarded 12 scholarships to 12 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged students to encourage their spirit of continuous learning.
Mr. Huynh Tan Chau said that after 3 consecutive years of giving gifts to students on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the school intends that this will become a good tradition of the school in the future.
On this occasion, students of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted made cards of gratitude, instead of words to send to their teachers.
