(HTV) - Towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, two authors Hoang Don and Hoang Don Nhat Tan have collected and supplemented selected stories about important events and characters in an important historical period.
The title "The Road We Take" was inspired by the song by musician Huy Du, with lyrics by poet Xuan Sach. It was a song that touched many hearts during the years of resistance war to save the country as well as during the period of nation building, after April 30, 1975.
The work "The Road We Take" by 02 authors: Hoang Don and Hoang Don Nhat Tan, produced by Tre Publishing House, includes historical stories published in books, newspapers and many traditional media, selected and arranged in chronological order of events.

The work consists of 20 stories, divided into two parts:
Part 1: Saigon, Fall 1945 - Spring 1975
Part 2: Saigon - Ho Chi Minh - Going out to sea
The book is divided into 02 parts.
Mr. Hoang Don Nhat Tan - Former Head of Propaganda Department of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Tradition Club said: "We, the cadres of Ho Chi Minh City, want to make a work about the heroic, brave and intelligent fight of the people of Saigon - Gia Dinh during the past resistance war and at the same time express the new ideas, breakthroughs and innovations of Ho Chi Minh City to advance to the big sea".
