Celebrating 35 years of establishment and receiving the First Class Labor Medal

This afternoon, September 12, Quang Tri General Hospital held a ceremony to celebrate the hospital's 35th anniversary (1989 - 2024) and receive the First Class Labor Medal. At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 35-year journey of construction and development of Quang Tri General Hospital. Overcoming difficulties and challenges, the hospital has achieved many outstanding and comprehensive achievements, affirming its stature as a grade I provincial general hospital.

Up to now, Quang Tri General Hospital has built facilities on par with hospitals in the region with a scale of 1,145 beds and 35 departments and functional rooms; more than 841 doctors, medical staff, workers and many modern medical machines and equipment for diagnosis and treatment.

Medical examination and treatment have made remarkable progress, mastering many new, modern and specialized techniques. In particular, the recent operation of the radiotherapy area at the Oncology Department has helped diagnose and treat accurately, improve the capacity of medical examination and treatment, meet the needs and reduce costs for cancer patients in the province as well as neighboring localities.

In addition, the hospital also regularly trains and transfers techniques to lower levels, contributing to improving the quality of primary health care. People's satisfaction with the hospital is increasing, the rate of compliments as well as the patient satisfaction rate through the Mscore scoring system are both over 90%, reflecting the hospital's trust and reputation in providing health care services to the people.

On the occasion of its 35th anniversary, Quang Tri General Hospital was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal from the President. This is a worthy recognition of the achievements and contributions of Quang Tri General Hospital in the work of caring for and protecting the health of the people in recent times.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam requested each doctor, medical staff and employee of Quang Tri General Hospital to continue promoting the achieved results, synchronously implementing measures to further improve the quality and effectiveness of medical examination and treatment. Take the lead in applying information technology, digital transformation, reforming administrative procedures, style and attitude of serving patients. Be active in scientific research, transferring techniques to lower-level hospitals. Take care of Party building, focus on training, fostering to improve professional quality, practicing medical ethics, building a team of doctors "Bright in medical ethics, good in medical skills".

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, socio-political organizations and all the people to continue supporting the hospital. At the same time, he believed that with the determination to innovate, solidarity and unceasing efforts, Quang Tri General Hospital will grow stronger and better, successfully fulfilling its noble mission: protecting and caring for the people's health.
