Disciplinary action against the President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance

From June 12 to 15, the Central Inspection Commission held its 29th meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, reviewing many important contents.

Implementing the conclusion of the 28th session on the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and a number of related Party organizations and Party members; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to take disciplinary action against the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and a number of related Party members.

Specifically, disciplinary warning was given to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao - Party Secretary, Chairman; Le Van Nghi - Party Committee member, Vice Chairman, Head of the Inspection Committee, Director of the Center for Biotechnology; Nguyen Van Thinh - Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.

Reprimand the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance for the 2020-2025 term and the following individuals: Nguyen Manh Cuong - Member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Cooperative Development Support Fund; Trinh Xuan Ngoc - Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief of the Party Committee Office, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization and Personnel Committee; Nguyen Hung Tien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Economic and Investment Committee, Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.

The Central Inspection Committee proposed that the Secretariat consider and discipline the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance for the terms 2015-2020 and 2020-2025.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao - Party Secretary, Chairman of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.

Previously, at the 28th session, the Party's inspection agency determined that the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance had violated the working regulations, organizational and operational principles of the Party, especially the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism, criticism, and the principles of solidarity and unity within the Party, causing internal disunity.

This organization also lacked responsibility, loosened leadership and direction, allowing the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and many organizations and individuals to violate Party regulations and State laws in organization, personnel, emulation and rewards, and in management and use of land, finance, assets, and investment projects.

The above violations and shortcomings have caused serious consequences, reducing the leadership capacity, fighting strength and prestige of the Party Delegation, risking great loss of State money and assets, causing public outrage, to the point of having to consider and handle disciplinary actions .
