Kien Giang has a new chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front province.

On the afternoon of April 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province held the 10th Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term X, term 2019 - 2024, on personnel organization work.

Attending the conference were Mr. Vo Van Thien - Head of the Southern Working Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Kien Giang province Mai Van Huynh; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Kien Giang province.

The conference consulted to elect and replace 3 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, term X, 2019-2024. The consultative conference elected to join the Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term X, 2019-2024 for Mr. Le Thanh Viet - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, replacing Ms. Le Thi Ve.

Ms. Le Thi Ve is preparing to retire according to Decree No. 26/2015/ND-CP, dated March 9, 2015 of the Government on regulations on regimes and policies for cadres who do not meet the age requirements for re-election or re-appointment to positions and titles according to their terms in agencies of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State, and socio-political organizations.

Mr. Vo Van Thien - Head of the Southern Working Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented flowers to congratulate the new Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, Le Thanh Viet.

Before being mobilized and appointed to participate as a member of the Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, term 2019-2024, Mr. Le Thanh Viet was a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Rach Gia City.

Speaking at the Conference, the new Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province, Le Thanh Viet, sincerely thanked the trust and confidence of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province. The new Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province promised to promote the spirit of solidarity and well perform the tasks assigned by the Central Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

"I hope to continue to receive more attention from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to create conditions for the provincial Fatherland Front to successfully carry out its assigned tasks," said the new Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province, Le Thanh Viet.

Speaking at the Conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Kien Giang Province Mai Van Huynh said that the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated and respected the contributions of Ms. Le Thi Ve to the Provincial Party Committee and the work of the Fatherland Front.

Mr. Mai Van Huynh assessed that the new Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province is an official who has held many positions and demonstrated his political capacity and courage. Mr. Mai Van Huynh hopes that the new Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province will unite and join hands to contribute to the development of the local Fatherland Front work even better.
