Summary of Spacetime episode 3

Although quite tired, teacher Tam (Le Bong) still decided to cross the stream in front of her to return to her students in time.

At the camp, Ms. Tam's former student is pleading with Lieutenant Colonel Dai (Manh Truong): "Even if I have to endure any form of discipline, I beg the leaders to save my teacher. I feel like she is in danger."

"Speak clearly," said Lieutenant Colonel Dai.

"Yesterday was Sunday, my aunt came to visit me because it was my birthday. The squad leader also knows this. This morning, she took the bus back to school early, but last night the rain and flood were so heavy, I was worried so I accidentally called her today. We talked for a while then suddenly hung up. Later when I called again, she didn't answer. Leaders, is it possible that my aunt was buried by a landslide? I would like to ask the leaders if they could go look for her."

Lieutenant Dai continued to ask: "What makes you think the teacher had an accident?"

"Because the first time you suddenly turned off your phone, the second and third times you didn't pick up, and the next time it was disconnected, if that's not buried in the ground, then what is it?" Huy honestly replied.

The superior criticized Huy for violating military discipline and using the phone many times: "Is there anyone who violated the same rules as you? Do you know that your actions greatly affect the image of soldiers in the eyes of the people?"

A subordinate reported that he had found a witness to the incident. It turned out that, with Linh's help, Huy had borrowed a local phone to call the teacher. Lieutenant Colonel Dai asked his subordinate to apologize to the old man who lent him the phone and to make this public.

Standing in front of the rising stream, Ms. Tam decided to cross it to get to the main road. When she reached the other side, she discovered a small child collapsed on the side of the road, weak and unable to speak.

Despite being very tired, the teacher carried the child on her back in the rain, struggling to find a way to bring him home. After arriving safely, she decided to stay at the child's house because the way back had many dangerous landslides.

Meanwhile, Huy and Linh were punished to stand guard in the heavy rain for borrowing the phone. Linh felt unfairly treated, while Huy blamed Lieutenant Colonel Dai for being heartless: "If anything happens to Miss Tam, my image of Lieutenant Colonel Dai will collapse."

But Huy did not know that Lieutenant Colonel Dai had personally gone to look for the teacher. He went to the bus stop the day before to inquire about information. Through investigation, he learned that the teacher got off the bus early to find a trail back to school.

Lieutenant Colonel Dai is trying to convince some people to stay in a safe place. However, despite his advice, they want to return home to take care of their crops. Although they have prepared rice and salt, they still refuse and return to their hometowns.

When the rain stopped, Lieutenant Colonel Dai continued his journey. Finally, he found teacher Tam in an "ironic" situation: she was "chased by Cao Cao" and had to go to a local's house to use the restroom.

Seeing that the teacher's condition was not good, Lieutenant Colonel Dai suggested taking her to the battalion medical center for care. However, Ms. Tam firmly refused: "No, I have to go back to school." As soon as she finished speaking, the teacher suddenly fainted right in front of Lieutenant Colonel Dai.

Timeless exploits the story of Uncle Ho's soldiers, with two distinct parts: "war" and "peace". The past part depicts the fighting life of the fathers' generation in the war to defend the country. That life was both heroic, but also full of tragedy due to the losses caused by war.

In the present, the film is inspired by the silent contributions of peacetime soldiers, who grew up in peace and were willing to sacrifice their personal happiness for the sacred word "people". The past and present stories are interwoven in the film, helping to clearly portray the portrait of soldiers in each period. At the same time, the connection between the past and the present also creates a reflection, showing the continuation of the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", "by the people, for the people".

The film not only recreates the values ​​of soldiers in war, but also honors the silent sacrifices of the generation of soldiers in peacetime, who always protect the safety and happiness of the people.
