No shortage of cheap air tickets for the 2024 travel season

Summer is coming, which is the time when everyone starts planning their trips. Some people want to enjoy the peaceful and refreshing feeling in the blue seas of their homeland Vietnam. Others want to explore the "promised lands", strange countries they have never set foot in.

Recently, The Outbox Company - a pioneering market research and travel data analysis company in Vietnam and operating across Asia, has published a report on "Overseas travel trends of Vietnamese tourists - Summer 2024". The report shows that 79.7% of Vietnamese tourists plan to take a trip this summer.

According to The Outbox Company, domestic tourism continues to be the main trend in choosing destinations for Vietnamese tourists. In addition, they also tend to prioritize short vacations for international travel with destinations such as Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore.

It can be seen that each person's travel preferences, planning, and ability to pay for trips are different. However, it cannot be denied that the need to "travel" is very high every summer.

Understanding the psychology and in order to facilitate and serve people during peak times, airlines have launched many preferential ticket programs, creating every convenient travel opportunity for passengers.

Since the beginning of May, airlines have developed exploitation plans, implemented many promotional programs, reduced ticket prices, and increased the frequency of night and early morning flights.

To serve the people and tourists on flights to tourist cities such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Phu Quoc, etc., Vietjet will provide an additional 1.4 million tickets, equivalent to an increase of approximately 35% in capacity. The airline also opens a series of 0 VND tickets (excluding taxes and fees) and other cheap tickets on all routes with flight times from September to the end of this year.

Ms. Nguyen Quynh Anh (Quang Ninh) said that every year, her family often takes long trips during holidays or after the children's summer vacation.

“I just surveyed ticket prices and found that airlines are offering many attractive ticket prices, suitable for my family's financial ability. I bought a ticket for the Hanoi - Nha Trang route of Vietjet, which was on sale for 490,000 VND, 890,000 VND/way. This is an attractive ticket price for a vacation this summer,” said Ms. Quynh Anh.

A very hot destination for domestic and international tourists, Phu Quoc Island is also being sold by Vietjet with many attractive ticket prices. Mr. Than Quang Dat (Hanoi) boasted that he had just booked a round-trip ticket from Hanoi to Phu Quoc in mid-July for only 3.7 million VND. "This is really a great price for a trip to the sea paradise of Phu Quoc during the peak summer season. At first, I just wanted to check the price, but unexpectedly the price was so cheap that I decided to buy it right away," said Mr. Dat.

In addition, Vietjet is also selling many tickets with diverse and attractive prices, suitable for all passengers on flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Hue, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon.

Vietjet representative said: “Given the shortage of aircraft in the aviation industry, increasing night flights and selling promotional tickets is a great effort of the airline. Vietjet has increased night flights by approximately 46% compared to the usual level, equivalent to 3,100 night flights. In the coming time, the airline will continue to launch many attractive ticket promotion programs on both domestic and international routes to meet the needs of all customers.”

With 168 international and domestic routes and thousands of cheap tickets from Vietjet, passengers can completely enjoy memorable time with family and friends this summer.
