Hanoi business sector overcomes challenges, maintains production and business efficiency

Hanoi's business sector has made efforts to promote its strengths and resources to maintain business stability and improve the efficiency of production and business activities.

On the afternoon of December 13, at the Institute of Mechanical Research, the Hanoi Business Bloc Party Committee held the 20th Executive Committee Conference for the 2020-2025 term.

Regarding the leadership, direction and production and business activities of enterprises, the Party Committee of Hanoi Business Bloc said that, based on the 2024 program and plan of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Hanoi People's Committee, on the basis of the specific situation of the Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Bloc has developed a Plan to lead grassroots Party committees in enterprises to deploy appropriate tasks and solutions, contributing to the effective implementation of the production and business plans of enterprises.

At the same time, direct the focus on implementing well the propaganda and dissemination work, enhancing the role and responsibility of Party committees, heads of agencies and enterprises in promoting linkage and cooperation; improving the effectiveness of grasping the supply-demand situation, the ability to meet the requirements between the parties; creating conditions for connection so that Party committee and enterprise leaders can proactively and actively meet, exchange, and seek opportunities for linkage and cooperation.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc directed and conducted a summary of Program 03 on promoting linkage and cooperation; organized 3 conferences, including: Conference to sign minutes of linkage and cooperation between 13 enterprises in the Bloc; 2 thematic conferences between enterprises in the mechanical industry to introduce the capacity and needs for linkage and cooperation between enterprises in the coming time.

Regarding the production and business activities, enterprises carry out their tasks in 2024 in the context of external impacts and the long-standing accumulation of enterprises that have strongly impacted production and business activities, affecting the labor and employment of enterprises, directly affecting the production, investment and business situation of industries and fields; capital mobilization, increased production costs; the driving force to promote exports in major markets faces many challenges when orders and export markets are narrowed due to declining demand... causing enterprises to face difficulties due to broken supply chains, production chains, and shortages of funds for production recovery and business maintenance.

In addition, businesses in the sector are facing difficulties, mainly issues related to increasing input material and labor costs; market access, customer search, transportation; decreased purchasing power, inventory and access to capital.

In the above context, grassroots Party committees and enterprises in the bloc have made efforts, strived, promoted strengths and resources to develop production and business, continue to recover, maintain business stability; ensure jobs, income for workers, business profits; social security has been taken care of, especially for policy beneficiaries.

However, the production results of enterprises in 2024 are estimated to be as follows: Revenue of over 187,000 billion VND; payment to the state budget of 3,650 billion VND; profit of 3,900 billion VND; average income of officers and employees in enterprises in the sector reaching over 11 million VND.

In parallel with production and business tasks, grassroots Party committees and enterprise leaders strengthen leadership, create conditions for socio-political organizations to promote their roles, improve the quality of activities, patriotic emulation movements, and mobilize workers to participate in social activities. Continue to implement the grassroots democracy regulations well. Promote the implementation of anti-corruption, anti-waste and thrift practices; develop and implement plans to prevent fires, natural disasters, occupational safety, occupational hygiene, and improve working conditions and environment.

Enterprises and units in the bloc continue to effectively carry out social activities, such as supporting the sea and islands, taking care of and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, seriously wounded and sick soldiers, visiting and giving gifts to families with meritorious services; supporting the poor, supporting and providing relief to people affected by natural disasters, children in difficult circumstances... with a total amount of nearly 70 billion VND.

In the past time, the Party Committee of Hanoi Business Bloc has closely followed the leadership and direction of superiors, built and implemented programs and plans to lead, direct, and organize the implementation of Party building tasks and political tasks of enterprises in line with the practical situation, contributing to maintaining stability and developing enterprises.

At the same time, grassroots Party committees strictly implemented the direction of the Hanoi Business Bloc Party Committee. Business leaders always strived to overcome difficulties and limitations, and had many effective solutions to maintain business stability and improve the efficiency of production and business activities, ensure jobs, and care for workers' lives.
