On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), Hanoi City Police directed specialized departments, district and town police to compete to achieve achievements in celebration, in which Ba Vi District Police coordinated with the Youth Union of Van Thang Commune (Ba Vi) to launch the model "National Flag Road" in the area. The model was highly appreciated by the City Police in its skillful implementation of mass mobilization. Union members and youth of the two units organized the hanging of 79 red flags with yellow stars and Party flags in solemn positions on the road around Mai Trai Lake and places of worship in Van Thang Commune. A representative of Ba Vi District Police said that "National Flag Road" is one of the skillful mass mobilization models that the Ba Vi District Police and Van Thang Commune Youth Union have paid attention to and coordinated in implementing. The model was launched on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day, September 2, contributing to arousing national pride and self-respect for union members, youth, and the masses, while conveying the meaning and value of the national flag and the Party flag on important national holidays. According to Mr. Le Van Nam, Head of Mai Trai village (Van Thang commune), the "National Flag Road" model has a profound educational meaning for the tradition of patriotism. In addition, the model also creates a bright, green, clean, and beautiful landscape of village roads and alleys, contributing to creating favorable conditions for people's lives, associated with the work of ensuring security and order. This is a practical action to further promote the spirit of national pride and self-respect, conveying the value and meaning of the national flag to the people, especially to the younger generation. Secretary of the Youth Union of Van Thang commune, Nguyen Manh Tung, was moved to share that many generations of fathers and brothers have sacrificed their blood and bones to beautify the flag, protect independence, and preserve the country's sovereignty. No matter where you are, just looking at the red flag with a yellow star fluttering, every Vietnamese person is filled with emotions. Hanging the national flag is a demonstration of patriotism, a sense of responsibility of each citizen; at the same time, this is also a cultural beauty that needs to be preserved and promoted. The model "National Flag Road" will be a symbol to remind the youth of Van Thang commune in particular and the youth of Ba Vi district in general to always be proud of the tradition of the nation. According to the assessment of the Hanoi City Police, the model "National Flag Road" is both a highlight of the village landscape and the result of the coordinated activities of the Ba Vi District Police and the Van Thang Commune Youth Union. This activity demonstrates the special attention and solidarity between the district police force and the people and the Van Thang government.
