City leaders press the button to start the project

This is one of the projects to celebrate Hue officially becoming a City directly under the Central Government, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hue City Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025).

Chan May Logistics Center Project is located in Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone, with a total investment of more than 1,500 billion VND, a scale of 33.62 hectares, including a modern warehouse system, a goods coordination center, customs services and multimodal transportation, expected to become a key logistics center, contributing to improving the trade connectivity capacity of the Central region and the whole country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Duc Tuan - Chairman of LEC Group emphasized: "Chan May Logistics Center will not only enhance the competitiveness of Hue's logistics industry but also create jobs for workers, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Hue in particular and the Central region in general. This will be an important link in the national and international supply chain, a driving force for the sustainable development of Chan May Economic Zone".

The project also marks an important step forward in the development strategy in the logistics sector of Hue city, while affirming LEC Group's commitment to contributing to promoting economic growth in the region.

“With the highest responsibility and determination, LEC Group commits to closely coordinate with local authorities and functional agencies to focus all resources to implement the project on schedule, ensure quality, and comply with environmental and labor safety criteria,” Mr. Tran Duc Tuan affirmed.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong said that this is not only an event marking the beginning of an important project, but also a clear demonstration of Hue City's determination to develop the economy on the path of integration and comprehensive development; marking Hue City's efforts in investment promotion.

LEC Group Corporation signs Memorandum of Understanding with partners

Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong believes that when put into operation, Chan May Logistics Center will become an important link in the supply chain of goods not only domestically but also connecting with the international market, contributing to maximizing the potential and favorable geographical location of Chan May Port, while creating a strong driving force for the sustainable development of Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone and the key economic region of the Central region.

“Hue City commits to continue to lead and direct the Economic and Industrial Zone Management Board; relevant departments, branches and localities to closely coordinate, provide maximum support and accompany investors throughout the project implementation process. We commit to creating the most favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms, policies and administrative procedures so that investors can implement the project quickly and effectively,” Mr. Phuong affirmed.

Within the framework of the event, LEC Group Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation to implement investment projects with Chan May Port Corporation, Vsico Maritime Corporation as well as with other partners and enterprises.

This cooperation is expected to attract more businesses in the fields of logistics, manufacturing and import-export, making Chan May the leading logistics center in the Central region.
