On the morning of March 20, in Phu Hoan village (Tan Hiep ward, Phu Ly city), the groundbreaking ceremony of the Social Housing project under the Sun Group's Urban Area Project and the Nam Cao University Area Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project in Ha Nam province took place. The groundbreaking ceremony of the social housing project in the Sun Urban City metropolitan area and the Nam Cao University infrastructure investment project affirms Ha Nam's strategic vision in building a synchronous urban ecosystem, combining housing, education, healthcare and other social infrastructure. The social housing project of the Sun Urban City metropolitan area is located on both sides of Ring Road 5, between the Sun Urban City urban area and the Nam Cao University area, possessing outstanding advantages in terms of traffic and connectivity with public utilities. This is one of the strategic areas, contributing to shaping the modern and bustling urban appearance of Ha Nam.
It is expected that the Sun Urban City mega-urban project will build many social housing buildings with about 12,000 apartments on a total area of 20.5 hectares, with a maximum construction density of 60% and a maximum height of 9 floors. Of which, 20% of the floor area is reserved for commercial and service functions, meeting the essential needs of residents of the social housing area. The first social housing building is 9 floors high, including 182 apartments and commercial and service areas. The social housing buildings are designed with a modern, airy exterior, optimizing natural light and living space. The apartments have an area of 25m2 - 70m2, optimizing functionality, ensuring convenience and comfort.
The highlight of the project lies in the combination of modern design and green living space, bringing a superior living experience in the social housing segment. The project inherits the entire utility system of the Sun Urban City metropolis. The connection with the neighboring Nam Cao University Area further increases the value of the project, creating an ideal living environment with full educational, medical and entertainment services. Representative of the investor of the Nam Cao University Area Infrastructure Construction Investment Project, Mr. Dinh Van An, Head of the Nam Cao University Area Management Board, said: The Nam Cao University Area Infrastructure Construction and Improvement Investment Project has an investment scale of 13.6 km, including main roads N1, D1; N2, T3; axis 1, axis 2, axis 3 according to the planning in Nam Cao University Area; total investment of 993 billion VND. The project implementation period is 2024-2027. This is one of the important projects in the Nam Cao University Area infrastructure planning. After completion, the project will contribute to meeting the increasing demand for inter-regional traffic connections and increasing investment attraction in Nam Cao University Area, serving the socio-economic development of the province; striving to complete in 2 years 2025-2026.

To connect with Hanoi, National Highway 1A and the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway are a solid foundation, along with new projects such as Ring Road 3.5; 4, 5 and Phu Thu Intersection are also being accelerated, placing Nam Cao University, as well as Ha Nam province, in the central position of the Red River Delta region. To continue to complete the internal infrastructure of Nam Cao University, the projects starting today will strengthen internal connectivity. Along with that, social housing, urban housing and 1001 utilities at the Urban Area Project of the Era and Innovation will meet all needs for housing, services, entertainment, shopping, ... serving the team of teachers, lecturers and education workers. At the same time, this is also a favorable condition to attract students to study. From there, forming and developing Nam Cao University Area to become a center for training high-quality human resources in the Red River Delta. At the same time, demonstrating the determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Nam province in promoting investment attraction, developing infrastructure, trade, services and urban areas along with developing human resources, ensuring social security, realizing the economic growth target of the province in 2025. However, to solve the bottleneck of social housing, creating conditions for workers, teachers and lecturers to have stable housing, investors and contractors are requested to effectively and successfully implement these two projects.
