Rewarding the driver who helped a pregnant woman give birth in a taxi

Previously, at around 5am on December 1, Mai Linh taxi driver Huynh Van Dau picked up a passenger on Truong Dinh Street (Man Thai Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City). The passenger who got on the car was a pregnant woman traveling with her family, needing to go to the hospital to give birth.

When the car reached the intersection of Ngo Quyen - Vo Van Kiet (Son Tra District), the pregnant woman had severe abdominal pain and showed signs of labor. At this time, Mr. Dau pulled the car over to the side of the road and reassured her, along with family members, to help deliver the baby right in the car.

Driver Huynh Van Dau was commended

After the baby was born, Mr. Dau immediately took the mother and child and her family to Son Tra District Medical Center (Da Nang).

Driver Huynh Van Dau shared: "I think anyone in this situation would do the same. Being able to deliver a baby in my own taxi, I am also very happy."
