When coming to Quang Ngai, asking about businesses that have both 'heart' and 'vision', we cannot fail to mention Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Duyen in Ba Dong commune, Ba To district. Not only has she built a strong family economy , she has also actively supported the people here to improve their lives.

Currently, Ms. Duyen is the owner of a level I agent distributing breeds and bran of Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japfa Vietnam) in the locality.

Breeders in Ba Dong commune, Ba To district choose to stick with Ngoc Duyen agent.

Starting from a small business with many difficulties when prices were unstable, making her and her family's life difficult, in 2012, realizing that the demand for livestock was increasing, she decided to invest all her capital to build a farm to raise 50 pigs, and at the same time opened a feed business of Japfa Vietnam Company. Starting from zero, but with a progressive spirit and daring to think and dare to do, she constantly learned from her predecessors, books and practical experience.

“To overcome the difficulties when the area is mainly populated by the Hre ethnic community who lack experience in raising livestock and have difficulty with investment capital, I decided to let people buy bran on credit and only refund the cost after selling the pigs. Many times, I also support people selling meat at the market to quickly consume the products. In cases where people still have pigs that have not been sold, I prioritize finding good markets with high prices for them, and I myself will sell them in markets further away, 1 to 2 prices cheaper,” Ms. Duyen shared.

Ms. Duyen highly appreciates Japfa Company's ordering application with its clear display of cooperation, promotion and discount policies.

Not only that, Ms. Duyen also shows her enthusiasm by sharing her experience and knowledge on how to care for, vaccinate and develop pig herds for farmers. In particular, she also actively expands connections with traders in and outside the province.

Thanks to her efforts and reputation, livestock customers feel completely secure when accompanying Ngoc Duyen agent despite many ups and downs due to price fluctuations and epidemics. Up to now, the profits from pig farming have not only helped her improve the quality of her family's life but also created many job opportunities for many local workers, especially the Hre people in the Ba To mountain area.

As one of the successful customers from livestock farming with Ngoc Duyen agent, Mr. Pham Choa, a Hre ethnic living locally, shared that his family used to do many jobs but still had not stabilized their economy. He switched to livestock farming in 2017 under the introduction and enthusiastic support of Ms. Duyen. Up to now, he and his wife have focused on livestock farming and improved their family's economic situation. "Ms. Duyen's companionship has helped my family have stable jobs and increase income," Mr. Choa shared.

Having such trust is also thanks to Ms. Duyen always choosing quality breeds and feed to provide to people. According to her experience, using feed and breeds of Japfa Vietnam brings good farming efficiency.

Previously, Ms. Duyen tested using feed from several other companies for Japfa pigs. The result was that the pigs had a large appearance but when weighed, they were not as heavy as pigs fed Japfa feed.

“Pigs fed Japfa feed are heavier, have beautiful red meat, and are leaner, so traders really like them. Pigs raised to 50-60 kg that switch to 653 feed grow faster, have bigger buttocks and thighs, and average weight for sale is 110 to 120 kg/pig,” Ms. Duyen shared her experience. From finding a market, her products have now affirmed their quality and many customers have placed deposits in advance.

In particular, the enthusiastic support from Japfa throughout the cooperation process has helped Ms. Duyen feel completely secure. Promotional programs, prices, discounts, etc. are clearly displayed on the company's ordering application, helping her easily track debts and choose products quickly.

Seeing positive signals from the market, Ms. Duyen is planning to expand her farming scale to 1,000 pigs this year. Although the care process is hard, she believes that the profession chooses the person, so she always sticks to the job with all her enthusiasm and passion. In addition, she will continue to work with local farmers to improve their lives and develop the economy together.
