Hoa Lam Pagoda was built in the Later Le Dynasty, the 8th year of Vinh Thinh (1712), and was restored in the year of Giap Ty, the 9th year of Khai Dinh (1924). Hoa Lam Pagoda is located on a plot of land adjacent to the communal house, forming a large-scale relic complex. Over time, although it has been renovated, the building is still in a state of disrepair. Construction began on July 26, 2023, and the Dai Hung Bao Dien was built solidly, spaciously, and solemnly.
The project aims to create a peaceful spiritual space, preserving the traditions and cultural identity of the nation, serving the religious and living needs of the Buddhist community. The total construction cost of the project is about 7 billion VND. The newly built Dai Hung Bao Dien Temple meets the spiritual needs of local and far-flung Buddhists, creating a cultural destination and community activities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Venerable Thich Thien Tam, Abbot of Hoa Lam Pagoda, expressed his gratitude to the monks and nuns, thanked the Party Committees and authorities at all levels for their joyful support in all aspects of the construction work; thanked the people, philanthropists, and Buddhist followers for their generosity, donations, and efforts to the construction of the Dai Hung Bao Dien.
At the end of the ceremony, the monks, nuns, delegates and Buddhists cut the ribbon and offered incense at the Great Hall of Hoa Lam Pagoda.
