Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, localities and units to urgently complete the plan to implement the provincial planning according to the guidance of the Ministry of Planning and Investment in Official Dispatch No. 2540 dated April 5, 2024.
In this dispatch, the Ministry of Planning and Investment requested the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to urgently develop plans to implement provincial planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, to submit to the Prime Minister for promulgation according to regulations.
The development and submission to the Prime Minister for promulgation of the plan to implement the provincial planning must ensure consistency and synchronization with the planning, the plan to implement the higher-level planning and the provincial planning; in accordance with the provisions of the law on planning, the law on public investment, and the law on investment.
The plan to implement the provincial planning must comply with the planning approved by the Prime Minister and be consistent with the province's resource mobilization capacity and development practices.
Previously, the Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to advise the Provincial People's Committee to develop a plan to implement the provincial planning with an appropriate roadmap, consistent with reality and ensuring feasibility. The Provincial People's Committee requested to complete the plan to implement the provincial planning in May 2024 .
