The musical "Bong Canh Co" marks the revival of Hong Van Drama Theater after a period of inactivity. The play is based on a script by musician - Meritorious Artist Bac Son, directed by Le Nguyen Tuan Anh, and musician Minh Vy is the music director.

The play tells the story of the tragic love story of a poor girl Tu Lieu (Cam Ly) and Hai Nong (Minh Luan) - the eldest son of a rich family. Conflict arises when Mrs. Ba Cai (Thanh Thuy) decides to marry Hai Nong off to a rich wife, and from then on, Tu Lieu's son, Bong Canh Co (Tuan Dung), grows up without a father.

The drama gradually opens up many twists and turns, each situation and each mood is expressed through songs by musician Bac Son. This new experiment has created an attraction for Hong Van Drama Stage and the audience "hunts" for tickets because they enjoy watching their favorite actors sing live songs that have touched the hearts of many generations of music lovers such as: "Em di tren co non", "Bong squash vang", "Con thuong rau dang moc sau he", "Thang may em ve"...

"Bong Canh Co" not only moves the audience with messages about preserving family values, but also makes them laugh happily through witty, lively pieces with a humorous style from the artists of Hong Van Drama Stage.

The play "Mother of the Street Singers" by author and director Huynh Lap (People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau as artistic advisor) performed at Truong Hung Minh Stage also attracted public attention with the combination of 3 actors Viet Huong - Minh Nhi - Huynh Lap.

The remarkable thing about "Mother of the Street Singers" is that this play was once performed on a small stage in a coffee shop with 70 seats. Now it is brought to a large stage, with a capacity of up to 400 people, and continues to create attraction.
