Near the end of the project, adjacent to National Highway 14B, the contractor is moving the power station, which is assembling the poles onto the casting bases, to a new location. A worker said that the work that needs to be done first will be completed urgently; when the power outage is scheduled, they will focus on manpower and equipment to move the three transformer stations that are blocking the middle of the road within a day.
Retreating to the border of DT609 (Dai Quang commune) and the road leading to the north bank through Dai Minh commune, some bottlenecks in site clearance have been resolved, the joint venture of contractors Thanh Tung Company Limited and Thai Duong Construction Company Limited is constructing the foundation; loading the location that needs to treat weak ground.
The project connecting DT609C to QL14B has a total investment of 550 billion VND. The project has a total length of 3.93km (including the bridge), the road section has a cross-section of 9m wide. When completed, the project will be connected to the project connecting QL14H to DT609C (including Song Thu bridge).
At that time, people and tourists can travel from National Highway 14B, through An Binh Bridge to Dai Loc B area, through Song Thu Bridge to Duy Xuyen area, and join National Highway 14H right at the intersection of the road to My Son relic site.
From the project location intersecting with DT609 to the border of QL14B, there is a small bridge at Km3+428, the lower part has been completed with pier T1, abutments M1 and M2. The beams to rest on the pier and abutments have been cast for a long time, just waiting for the approach road to be built up to proceed with the installation. A very important item is the An Binh bridge across the Vu Gia river connecting area B (Dai Minh commune) with Dai Quang commune.
Engineer Pham Thanh Hanh - executive officer of the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects of Quang Nam Province (investor) said that for An Binh Bridge, the upper part of the approach span has completed the bridge deck of 19/19 spans. The casting of cantilever beams on piers T8 and T9 has been completed. Next to that, piers T10 have completed 10/11 segments, 2/2 KT beam blocks cast on scaffolding; the T7-T8 border span on the south bank is closed.

At the An Binh bridge construction site, engineer Tran Van Hung - an officer of Thanh Tung Company Limited shared that the bridge has pillars on the main span including T7, T8, T9, T10 and T11; in which pillar T9 is the central pillar. "For block K11, also known as the balanced cantilever block of pillar T10, we expect to finish casting on April 14" - engineer Hung said.
Currently, An Binh Bridge still has an important part of construction work, which is the construction of the northern border and the middle bridge. The estimated time for the global bridge (middle bridge) on April 28 is completely feasible.
Continue to remove obstacles
Up to this point, Dai Loc has handed over the above project site to the investor with a total length of 3.2/3.93km, equivalent to 81%.

It is known that the district has selected a contractor and will soon construct a resettlement area to accommodate the households that were cleared of land in Dai Quang commune. In Dai Minh commune, the selection of a contractor to construct a resettlement area for 16 households that were cleared of land has also been completed.
Engineer Phan Dinh Cong - Project Manager of Thai Duong Construction Company Limited said that the unit is constructing the An Binh bridge railing and filling the approach road, the project on the route from km0+430 to km1+037.
The above-mentioned nearly 1km section is located in Dai Minh commune, and the site has been handed over. The contractor plans to complete the asphalt concrete paving of the bridge deck on June 30, 2024; the sections that have been handed over will also try to complete the asphalt paving by June 30, 2024.

The investor sets out a construction plan with specific time frames. Accordingly, on April 28, 2024, An Binh Bridge will be closed. By May 30, 2024, the contractor will complete the K98 layers of earth filling for the sections that have been handed over (except for the sections with weak soil treatment). By June 30, 2024, asphalt concrete will be laid for the sections that have been handed over and An Binh Bridge.
In particular, if the clean site is handed over completely before June 30 this year, the investor will urge the contractor to complete the entire project before March 24, 2025.
Therefore, the necessary and focused task at this time is to clear the remaining technical infrastructure (such as Mobifone stations); the area of influence of the animal feed processing plant; construction and resettlement for people...
