PV. After 50 years of building our homeland, can you review the outstanding development milestones of Dai Loc today?

Comrade Nguyen Hao: After the liberation of the homeland, the tasks set for the Party Committee and the people of Dai Loc district at that time were extremely heavy. Promoting the revolutionary tradition, the contingent of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life promoted the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance, determination to build and develop the homeland with policies, projects and imprints of historical stature.

The Party Committee led the people of the entire district to focus on reclaiming land, bringing back green to life and reviving a land devastated by the fierce war. Typically, in 1981, Dai Phuoc Agricultural Cooperative (now Ai Nghia Agricultural Cooperative) reached the peak of rice productivity in the country with 21.6 tons/ha/3 crops.

The bright lights from the people's power of the Ho Ba Thai (Dai Quang 3) and An Dinh (Dai Dong) hydroelectric plants have changed many rural areas. Notably, the groundbreaking of the Khe Tan reservoir - the second largest irrigation project in the province - has brought water to irrigate the dry fields in region B, where irrigation was previously just a dream of the people.

From the right policies and decisions, Dai Loc District Party Committee has led cadres, party members and people to make important achievements and marks, and the appearance of the homeland is increasingly prosperous.

During the development process, Dai Loc has achieved many achievements in many fields. The socio-economy has developed, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction with a constantly growing scale. In 2024, the total production value of the district reached 16,311 billion VND. Industrial and handicraft production has many positive changes. Up to now, the district has attracted 52 projects with a total registered investment capital of 6,546 billion VND, creating jobs for 10,710 workers. The trade and service sector is stable and developing, basically meeting the needs of the people. Agricultural production has gradually shifted towards commodity production, bringing high economic efficiency.

The district's infrastructure framework has been invested and completed with many breakthrough projects, regional connectivity, and expansion of development space. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the total investment in infrastructure framework is more than 2,000 billion VND. To date, Dai Loc has 17/17 communes meeting the criteria of new rural communes, Ai Nghia town continues to build to achieve type IV urban area.

PV. The achievements Dai Loc has achieved cannot fail to emphasize the correct guidance and leadership of the Party. Could you please tell us what close solutions the District Party Committee has taken in the work of building an increasingly clean and strong Party?

Comrade Nguyen Hao: After Dai Loc was liberated in 1975, the district Party Committee had only 375 members. To date, the entire Party Committee has nearly 4,900 members participating in activities in 59 subordinate grassroots party organizations. Of these, there are 18 commune and town party committees; 3 district-level agency and sector party committees; and 38 grassroots party cells.

In the 2020-2025 term alone, Dai Loc District Party Committee established 4 grassroots Party cells and 19 grassroots Party cells; merged 4 school Party cells in communes; transferred 1 Party cell to the province. The Party Committee admitted 534 new Party members; on average, the annual target exceeded 6.8%.

The work of building, consolidating and perfecting clean and strong grassroots party organizations associated with building "Four-good Party cells" and "Four-good grassroots party organizations" has always been focused on. The quality of party cell activities has been increasingly improved. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system from the district to the grassroots has been focused on implementation, achieving many quite comprehensive results. In particular, the District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee have focused on leading and directing the completion and arrangement of the organizational apparatus and staff to meet the requirements of the tasks, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the district's political system.

PV. Entering the era of growing together with the whole country, what policies has the locality put forth to promote socio-economic development, contributing to the double-digit growth target of the whole province, sir?

Comrade Nguyen Hao: The coming years mark a new development stage for the country and the homeland. Based on analysis, assessment and forecast of the situation, the Dai Loc District Party Committee has set out directions and tasks for the coming time. Accordingly, the locality focuses on strengthening the work of building a clean and strong Party and political system. Resolutely implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus; building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees to meet the requirements of new tasks.

Dai Loc is determined to boost economic growth, promote the potential and advantages of the district, effectively implement the District Regional Planning, and strive with the whole province to achieve the target of continuous double-digit economic growth. Strongly promote science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and administrative reform. Preserve and promote cultural values, improve the quality of national target programs, ensure social security, and complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.

We believe that with the continued promotion of potential and strengths and the consensus of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, the locality will have new breakthrough developments.
