Implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee in the first quarter of 2025 in the context of the general situation of the country and the province still facing many difficulties, however, with the determination and drastic leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the efforts in management and operation of the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and sectors have achieved many positive results.

The work of Party building and political system building continues to receive focused leadership and direction. The conclusions and directions of the Politburo and the Secretariat are promptly implemented.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee directed Party committees, agencies and units to complete the Project on reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee. As a result, the activities of 08 Party delegations and 03 Party Executive Committees under the Provincial Party Committee were terminated; 06 provincial-level departments, branches and equivalents were reduced (15%), 26/259 departments and equivalents, and public service units under provincial departments, branches and equivalents were reduced (10.04%), and 27/215 district-level Party and State agencies were reduced (12.56%).

GRDP growth rate is estimated to increase by 9.1%; budget revenue reaches 47.04% of the resolution (up 10% over the same period). Focus on urging and accelerating the implementation of key investment projects in the area, works to welcome Party congresses at all levels. The province was recognized by the Prime Minister for completing the task of building new rural areas in 2024.

Comrade Nguyen Quoc Phuong, Secretary of Tra Cu District Party Committee, reported on the implementation of the District Party Committee's Resolution for the first quarter of 2025.

The agricultural sector in the first months of the year developed relatively stably; continued to implement the model of the Project of 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice, the total value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production was estimated at 7,231 billion VND, reaching 21.64% of the plan;

Industrial production grew quite well; industrial production index increased by 18.98%, industrial production value reached 10,803 billion VND, reaching 23.17% of the plan; total import-export turnover reached 388 million USD, reaching 24.82%; investment promotion, trade, business development, and support for connecting consumer markets continued to receive attention; 203 new enterprises were established, reaching 39% of the resolution (an increase of 68 enterprises compared to the same period).

The cultural and educational fields continue to receive attention. The Provincial Party Committee directs the effective implementation of policies for people with meritorious services and effective implementation of social security policies. During the Lunar New Year 2025, the Provincial Party Committee established many delegations to visit and congratulate the beneficiaries; organized and ensured that people enjoyed spring and celebrated Tet in a joyful, healthy, safe and economical spirit; focused on mobilizing the effective implementation of social security policies.

The province continues to focus on implementing the Plan for sustainable poverty reduction, approving the results of the review of poor and near-poor households in 2024 and developing a poverty reduction plan for 2025. Creating new jobs for 2,173 workers, sending 394 workers to work abroad for a limited period (achieving 43.7% of the plan).

Since the beginning of the year, the province has focused on mobilizing social resources to support the construction of 2,964 houses for households with housing difficulties, of which 1,975 houses have been completed and supported from the provincial Social Security Fund, the rest are supported from the province's 5% savings fund.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong acknowledged and commended the achievements in the first quarter and hoped that in the coming time, sectors, levels and localities will continue to strive for better results.

The Provincial Party Secretary suggested: In the second quarter and the last 6 months of 2025, there is a lot of work that needs to be accelerated, focusing on drastic implementation to achieve the set targets and tasks, especially implementing the Central's directive conclusions on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units, ending district-level activities; focusing on Party Congresses at all levels...

At this conference, the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, leaders of sectors and localities promoted their sense of responsibility, focused on studying, discussing, and objectively and comprehensively evaluating the achieved results; carefully analyzed the limitations and causes, reviewed the goals, targets and tasks set from now until the end of 2025, identified key tasks, and proposed positive and appropriate solutions for implementation in a feasible and effective manner.
