Opening of Pho Festival 2024 in Nam Dinh city

NDO - The opening ceremony of the 2024 Pho Festival with the theme "Vietnamese Pho Road" took place on the afternoon of March 15, in Nam Dinh city (Nam Dinh province). The event attracted thousands of tourists to visit, learn about and enjoy Vietnamese pho.

The space of Pho Festival 2024 is designed diversely and eye-catchingly with images of traditional pho bowls.

The highlight of the 2024 Pho Festival Opening Ceremony is the activity of 20 artisans and 30 assistants creating a giant pot of delicious, flavorful pho, serving about 2,000 bowls of pho.

The 300-liter broth is simmered from bones and spice powder with ingredients estimated to include 40kg of rare and well-done beef; 20kg of vegetables, chili peppers, and spices with strong Vietnamese flavors such as salt, herbs like dried cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, cloves, coriander seeds... Then it is divided equally into bowls of pho served to people visiting the Festival.

People enjoy visiting stalls with a variety of pho from all over the country.

Throughout the 3 days of the Pho Festival 2024, the Organizing Committee will issue 15,000-20,000 discount coupons (each coupon is worth 15,000 VND) for diners to enjoy pho at the booths of their choice.

Fresh, hot bowls of pho with typical flavors from regions across the country are prepared directly and served to customers at the 2024 Pho Festival.

Corn noodle soup is a unique and creative dish of the people of the Ha Giang rocky plateau with characteristic golden yellow noodles.

Customers can enjoy delicious bowls of pho directly at the event.

During the 3 days (March 15-17), the 2024 Pho Festival organized many activities to promote pho culture such as: The program "Finding the taste of Vietnamese pho" gathered more than 50 booths of businesses and brands participating in the performance, promoting the image and brand; Discussion "Vietnamese Pho Road and Pho Noodles"; 2 attractive promotional activities for tourists with the theme "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Pho": "Vietnamese Pho Flavor" promotion, "Vietnamese Pho Noodles" promotion; youth music night "Pho in me", ...

Pho Festival 2024 is directed by the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province and co-organized by Masan Consumer Goods Joint Stock Company. The event is sponsored by the Vietnam Fish Sauce Association, Chinsu brand, Pho Story, Bluezone purified water, and Pho Xua Nam Dinh.
