Opening of Cap Tien Temple Festival in 2025

On February 3 (January 6, At Ty year), at Cap Tien temple, Dong Xa commune, Van Don district, the opening ceremony of Cap Tien temple festival 2025 took place. The program was jointly organized by Van Don district and Cam Pha city.

Cap Tien Temple is also known as Co Be Cua Suot Temple. Legend has it that she was the daughter of Hung Nhuong Vuong Tran Quoc Tang - a famous general of the Tran Dynasty. She fought with her father to protect the country and maintain peace in Cua Suot, the Northeast region of our country.

This is the second year the Organizing Committee has brought the story of "Little Cua Suot" associated with the legend of Cap Tien Temple to the opening ceremony. Through the opening ceremony, the purpose is to propagate to all classes of people the respect and gratitude for the contributions of their ancestors; at the same time, to strongly promote the cultural and historical values of the relic in implementing the policy of the Party, the State and Quang Ninh province on building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity; building a culture and people rich in Quang Ninh identity, contributing to creating endogenous resources and driving force for sustainable development.
