Mai Quyen Company Limited and CEO Van Don Company are researching and developing sightseeing and accommodation boats. Mai Quyen Company Limited has hired a consulting unit to conduct a survey of anchor buoys and signs for sightseeing routes on Bai Tu Long Bay; and has contributed capital to build 2 more overnight ships on Bai Tu Long Bay to serve the diverse needs of tourists. The unit is expected to put the second passenger terminal at Ao Tien International Port into operation by the end of 2025.

Previously, in May 2024, Viet Thuan Transport Company Limited put the "Heritage Journey" route connecting Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay by luxury cruise ship Grand Pioneers into operation with a 3-day 2-night or 4-day 3-night itinerary.

Van Don tourism is facing new opportunities, especially when the province announced 8 tours to Ha Long Bay, 10 tours to Bai Tu Long Bay and 3 tours connecting the two bays. These tours are expected to open in March 2025. In particular, in 2025, the province plans to organize the event "Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025" with about 200 world billionaires attending. During the program, super yachts will anchor at beautiful sandy beaches between Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.
