The district's Department of Education and Training focuses on improving management capacity and professional capacity for staff, teachers and employees to meet the requirements of education and training tasks in the current period.

With the motto "If you want good students, you must be good and pioneering teachers", in recent years, the leaders of the District Department of Education and Training and schools in the area have paid great attention to training and improving the quality of the team of managers, teachers and staff with specialized training courses, professional activities in the direction of studying lessons and topics in clusters of schools, focusing on students, encouraging the development of critical thinking and practical skills for students. This has helped the team of managers and teachers improve their management capacity, expertise, pedagogical skills and ability to adapt to innovation, especially the ability to apply IT and innovate teaching methods, effectively implementing the 2018 General Education Program.

The inspection and supervision work is carried out seriously by the District Education and Training Department, with the orientation of consulting, supporting and promoting, contributing to improving the effectiveness of management and organization of teaching and learning in schools. In particular, it is necessary to innovate teaching and assessment methods, and implement teaching and learning in the direction of developing students' qualities and abilities. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen review, survey, and mock tests on a district-wide scale, each school scale, especially for final year students and students of the excellent student selection team, so that students can get acquainted and practice their skills before entering the official exams; at the same time, there is analysis and assessment, linked to the responsibility of the head, each teacher, and related schools.

The district's Department of Education and Training closely monitors and pays attention to the comprehensive quality of education from preschool to high school, promotes activities to enhance Vietnamese language education, improves nutritional quality through boarding care activities; organizes many movement activities, creates useful playgrounds for staff and students; learning and playing experiences are appropriately blended, not creating pressure but effective. In addition to general quality, the department pays attention to key quality, helping talented students to develop, teachers with deep expertise to be affirmed and shine.

The sector consulted with the district to increase investment in facilities, equipment, and build national standard schools; to date, 100% of schools in the district have met national standards, including 7 schools meeting national standards at level 2. At the same time, it focuses on building happy schools, truly positive educational environments, where children are developed comprehensively in terms of physical, intellectual, and emotional aspects.

Remarkable results

In recent years, the district's education and training sector has achieved many remarkable results. The quality of the two-way education classification of the following school year has increased compared to the previous school year. The results of universal education (PCGD) at all levels have been maintained at a high level: The district has met the PCGD standards for preschool children at level 3; the PCGD standards for primary school level 3; the PCGD standards for secondary school level 3; and the illiteracy eradication standards at level 2.

At the junior high school level, 12.2% of students in grades 6, 7, and 8 of the 2018 general education program were classified as good (an increase of 0.4% compared to the previous school year). At the high school level, 14.2% of students in grades 10 and 11 of the 2018 general education program were classified as good (an increase of 4.34%); 100% of high school graduates were classified as high school graduates (an increase of 0.7% compared to the previous school year). The average score of the 2024 high school graduation exam increased by 0.44 points compared to 2023.

At the provincial level Online English Olympiad (IOE), district students won 36 prizes (8 second prizes, 9 third prizes, and 19 consolation prizes (an increase of 6 prizes compared to last year). In addition to cultural achievements, district students won many achievements in sports, including 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals in the High School Athletics Competition for the 2024-2025 school year.
