From December 2024, MB users can make financial transactions at 2,000 stores, supermarkets, and post offices in the Viettel Store and Viettel Post systems to make transactions like at MB bank.
In the context of increasing demand for financial transactions and becoming an indispensable part of modern life, the integration of digital financial solutions into accessible transaction infrastructure is becoming urgent. Grasping this, the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and the Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group have signed a cooperation agreement to deploy payment agents, expanding more than 2,000 financial transaction points nationwide. This new step will help MB users nationwide access financial solutions more easily and quickly, especially users in remote areas who do not have convenient opportunities to go to bank branches.
Accordingly, MB users can now make financial transactions as well as update their identity information (biometric updates) at Viettel Store stores, supermarkets, and Viettel Post post offices nationwide without worrying about waiting or not having an NFC scanning device at home.
Over the past 12 years, MB and Viettel have been stepping up their pilot payment services. The cooperation at the end of December 2024 not only marks a new step forward in the close and long-term relationship between the two sides, but also helps customers feel more secure when they can now easily use services from the two brands.
“More than 1.6 million transactions made through the system each month is proof that the cooperation between the two brands forms a solid pillar in the journey to promote comprehensive digital transformation, contributing to narrowing the gap in financial access and creating momentum for sustainable growth,” said Mr. Le Van Dai - General Director of Viettel Digital Services Corporation (Viettel Digital).
In the coming time, MB and Viettel are committed to providing more modern and convenient financial solutions, to optimize time and increase accessibility for customers nationwide. New services will include easy cash deposits and withdrawals, quick credit card debt payments, secure money transfers, and many other payment services, meeting all financial needs of users.
Especially in the context of the end of the year, the number of financial transactions increases, this flexibility not only helps to quickly resolve urgent financial needs but also reduces difficulties in moving, bringing peace of mind and comfort to users.
With a long-term vision, not only stopping at the banking sector, Viettel Digital also strengthens cooperation with multi-service platforms and leading e-commerce platforms. These partnerships promise to open up a comprehensive utility ecosystem, bringing outstanding experiences to users. For Viettel Digital, this is also a great step forward on the journey to becoming an important piece in the digital transformation strategy of Viettel Military Industry - Telecommunications Group, quickly completing the mission of "Universalizing digital finance for all people" in the near future.
