Landslide repaired, road to Cau Treo International Border Gate cleared

After more than 3 hours of effort, National Highway 8A leading to Cau Treo International Border Gate (Huong Son, Ha Tinh) has officially reopened.

Mr. Kieu Vinh Phuong - Executive Director of Project Management Board 4 (Vietnam Road Administration) - investor of the project "Investment in construction of the renovation and upgrading of National Highway 8A" said: After a period of focusing on overcoming the situation, by nearly 11:00 a.m. on September 27, the authorities had removed all the landslide-affected rocks and soil, and traffic was moving normally.

Previously, due to prolonged heavy rain, a large amount of rock and soil fell onto National Highway 8A ( km82+800), causing the road to Cau Treo International Border Gate (Ha Tinh) to be cut off.
