Of which: international visitors reached 83,582, reaching 27.9% of the plan, up 0.7; revenue from tourism activities is estimated at over 632.2 billion VND, equal to 37.2% of the plan, up 16.9%.

Identifying tourism as a key economic sector, therefore, in the first quarter of 2025, Yen Bai province issued plans to organize tourism development activities in Yen Bai province in 2025; implemented cooperation activities to develop tourism in 8 expanded Northwestern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City in 2025. At the same time, it directed, urged and guided tourism businesses to invest in upgrading equipment, technical facilities, human resources, ensuring conditions for serving tourists; built attractive tourism programs suitable for potential customer markets, and at the same time proposed solutions to attract domestic and international tourists to Yen Bai.

Along with that, promote solutions to attract tourists during the Lunar New Year 2025. In particular, localities have been instructed to simultaneously organize activities to welcome the first tourists to Yen Bai (on the first day of the Lunar New Year), and at the same time organize many attractive activities to serve tourists. Localities have proactively implemented the development of early spring festival tourism products, cultural experience activities, and spring flower viewing to attract a large number of tourists to relax. The movement to welcome tourists during the Lunar New Year in the province has increased significantly, focusing on developing community tourism products associated with learning about indigenous ethnic cultures, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, etc.

Thanks to that, in the first quarter of 2025, Yen Bai province is estimated to welcome 742,335 arrivals, an increase of 7.1% over the same period. Of which: international visitors reached 83,582 arrivals, an increase of 0.7% over the same period in 2024; revenue from tourism activities is estimated at over 632.2 billion VND, an increase of 16.9%.

In the coming time, Yen Bai province will continue to support and encourage organizations and individuals to invest and develop the province's strong tourism products in key tourist areas of the province; organize many tourism promotion activities, gradually affirming the quality and brand of Yen Bai tourism.

Along with that, continue to organize well the propaganda and promotion of tourism images, destinations, tourism products of the province, introduce and regularly update programs, events and tourism activities of Yen Bai province on mass media, local electronic information pages, social networking platforms (youtube, facebook, fanpage, Titok, ...), to introduce to people and tourists at home and abroad.
