To make it easier for farmers to sell their products, the province and localities have encouraged people to build and develop concentrated and specialized production areas, apply new technology to production, promote production linkages along the value chain, and create large-volume, high-value commodities. Accordingly, the province maintains 1,019.98 hectares of VietGAP-certified growing areas and 45 hectares of organic farming land.
The province continues to implement Resolution No. 194/2019/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council on promulgating policies to encourage investment and linkage in production, processing and consumption of agricultural products of the province. Up to now, 46 district-level linkage projects have been approved and implemented to support 762 individuals and organizations in localities, with a total budget of VND 30,183.4 million; VND 9,478.5 million has been disbursed.
Localities build and develop linkages in product chains, produce according to VietGAP, GlobalGAP, LIACCP, apply high technology, participate in linkage chains, create safe raw materials for the processing industry. The province currently maintains 13 certified safe food supply chains, with 54 products. Departments and branches support and guide the issuance of operating accounts for production and business establishments; to date, 1,332 accounts and 2,489 Qr-codes have been issued for agricultural products participating in the system.
Localities continue to build and develop OCOP products. The province currently has 569 products in 6 groups participating in the OCOP Program, of which 336 products from 13 localities have achieved 3-5 stars. Many of the province's OCOP products have good quality and design, and can be exported to many markets.
Trade promotion activities (XTTM) and product consumption connection inside and outside the province have been promoted. In 2024 alone, 1 national XTMT program, 2 provincial-level OCOP fairs, 6 Vietnamese goods weeks were implemented; 2 product consumption connection conferences were organized in Ha Long; 4 XTTM programs were participated in Bang Tuong, Kunming, Nanning (China), 12 XTTM programs in provinces and cities in the country... Sectors and localities also provided information on 39 XTTM programs, supply-demand connection, and events of the provinces to units and businesses in the province to proactively register to participate.
The province supports information connection, promotion, introduction, and connection for consumption of OCOP products and rural industrial products of 16 provinces and cities nationwide to supermarkets, convenience stores, and distribution units in the province. At the same time, it maintains the effective operation of the Quang Ninh OCOP e-commerce platform, supports cooperatives, businesses, and individuals to open booths on the e-commerce platform; builds a "Database system for tracing the origin of safe agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products in Quang Ninh province" at the website https://qn.check.net.vn.
Currently, the Quang Ninh OCOP e-commerce platform has opened 332 registered accounts, of which 169 accounts have been activated. There have been 129 booths of 129 enterprises opened and introduced 432 products for transactions in 2024; thereby, there were 98,236 visits. Along with that, there are about 30 OCOP centers and points of sale in the province. 100% of OCOP products that meet standards (from 3-5 stars) have been posted on e-commerce platforms such as Postmart.vn, Voso.vn...

The Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels coordinate to propagate and mobilize support for farmers and producers to consume products through welfare programs for union members and discounted support products. Specifically: The Provincial Federation of Labor propagates through mass media; introduces goods, products, and brands of Quang Ninh to agencies, units, and enterprises about the program "Welfare for union members"; regularly deploys with 61 units and enterprises signing contracts to provide essential services and products at preferential prices for union members in the province. Practical activities in supporting people to consume products produced by the province, departments, branches, localities, and socio-political organizations have contributed to motivating people to enthusiastically compete in labor production, increase income, and develop the local economy and society.
